You stared in shock at the view in front of you. He was here, right in front of you. You almost didn't dare to believe your eyes.

“A-Archí...?” you stuttered out in shock. Your voice no longer sounded neither evil nor hateful, instead it sounded rather shocked and in slight awe, as if you thought this was just an illusion. Your irises also returned to their normal [e/c] color.

“Yes, I'm here, [Name]. But where are you?” he asked. “What happened to you? I don't remember you being this blood thirsty. I thought I taught you better than that.”

“Archí... But how...?” You stared in shock at the man who was your mentor and Creator, whom you hadn't seen for over six centuries, and whom you thought you would never see again. He hadn't aged a day of course, with his hazel colored eyes glimmering as they always had done, and his golden mixed dirty blonde hair swaying in the wind the way it always had. He hadn't changed a bit except for the clothing which had become more modern to fit the time.

Romano stared at Archí too. This was the man you looked up to like a father, the one who had made it possible for him to meet you by turning you all those centuries ago. Now it seemed to click in his brain just how much you looked up to this man and how much he meant to you. He hadn't even existed in your state of rage, but the mere sound of Archí's voice had awoken you somewhat from it, and replaced all the rage and with shock and astonishment.

He wanted so badly walk up to you now and take you in his arms, but he felt he shouldn't interfere with the two of you and held himself back.

'I'm never gonna be able to take Archí's place in her heart. Was I just something to fill the hole of emptiness for the moment?' he thought sadly, but he didn't want to believe his own thoughts. That couldn't be true.
'Then, why hasn't she turned you yet? Like he did for her?
'Stop! It's not true!! It's not!' His mind kept battling with itself as he watched you.

“[Name]. Please release those two men.” Archí said.
You hung your head but called the bats off and let Antonio and Arthur float down to the ground safely. Antonio collapsed the moment his feet reached the ground due to the blood he lost when you drank from him. Arthur immediately crowded him and stabilized him, then helped him inside to rest on the couch.

“What are you doing here, Archí? Why did you stop me?!” you screamed at him.
“You would have regretted it, once you came to, had you followed through with your vengeance, [Name].”
Why are you even here? Where did you disappear to? Why did you not find me again like you promised?! I waited for you!” you yelled. You emotions were in a complete turmoil. You couldn't control them and you felt your confusion swallow you.

“I ran into some trouble that made it harder for me to find you. But trust me, I never stopped searching. I never stopped looking or hoping we would meet again.” Archí took you in his arms and held you there.

“I used to hold like this whenever I comforted you about your parents, remember?”
“... Yes...” You felt your claws and fangs retract themselves to their normal length and size, and your hair fall back down over your shoulders. Your furious rage started to retreat as well – retreat back to lay dormant at the depths of your soul.

The memory of a younger you when you were being comforted about your parents by Archí appeared in your mind, and the feeling of you just being in his arms again filled you with a sense of comfort.

“Archí, I long for them so much! Why did they take their leave from me?! I do not and cannot grasp why! Did they not love me?!” A 20 year old you cried into Archí's cold prism arms.
“I cannot believe that to be the truth, [Name].” Archí tried to comfort you.
“I ascertain myself to sometimes wish they were here... But they never shall be again...”
“Thou do still have me, [Name].”

“Then pray accept this ring as proof of that.” you said and handed him a simple silver ring with a beautiful cursive pattern engraved in the metal, and a shiny [f/g] embedded in the metal band.
“I shall care for it with treacherous and most utter tenderness.” Archí promised when he accepted the ring, and gave it a small kiss to prove his words.
“Thank you...”

~*~*~*~*

Archí held up his right hand, which bore your ring on his ring finger, in front of you, and it was in the same condition you had given it to him. “I promised I would treat it with great care, did I not?”
“Yes, and I can tell you kept your word...” you said softly.
“I never stopped searching for you, just like a good father.”
“I missed you...”
“I know, and I apologize.”

You sighed contently and calmed your senses down. You were starting to become aware of the world again and your senses were slowly starting to come back to you. And the first that returned to you was your sense of smell.

You sniffed the air on try, and the first scent you picked up was the lovely scent of tomatoes and Italian spices that you had come to tie to Romano. Then you heard and felt his heartbeat.

You whipped your head around to see him standing there on the porch beside Vlad with a face twisted in several different emotions, but in his eyes shone concern the most.

You were overwhelmed, even in your enraged and depressed state you had immediately come to the conclusion that he had been in the castle when it burned down together with his brother when you saw your beloved mansion on fire. However, there he was. Alive and well, and so was his brother as well you could now tell with all your senses back.

“... Romano...?” you breathed out, still unable to believe what you were seeing.
Sì, ragazza.” he answered and moved to get to you, but Arthur got a grip on him again and held him back. “Damn you, bastard! Let-a me go!”
“No, Romano!” Arthur insisted firmly.

You moved forwards to him and reached out a hand. Your eyes, that no longer were that cold and unforgiving shade of crimson red, shone with a relieved warmth. Oh how you wanted to take him in your arms again and hold him close.

“Damn bastard! I said-a let go!” Romano yelled at Arthur and somehow managed to break free from his grip. Once free he quickly made his way up to you and pulled you into a tight hug, something he usually didn't do to anyone.

You wrapped your strong, cold, prism arms around him and held him in a secure grip, so that no one could ever take him from you again without your consent. You sighed contently, knowing he was with you again.

However that moment of tranquility was disturbed by the voice of Antonio who had managed to collect himself and regain enough strength to get out of the couch, and had worked his way out again.

“Let him go! Let mi Roma go, demonio!” Antonio shouted.
Arthur and Bella were quickly by his side, holding him back and trying to calm him down.
“Toni, please calm down.” Bella pleaded to him.
“Chap, this isn't something you can take on.” Arthur said.

You snarled and hissed at them, holding Romano tighter to you. You utterly refused to let him go now. Now that he was back with you again. Not when you finally had the chance of being truly happy again, and be rid of the horrible loneliness that ate at your cold heart. Nothing in the world could ever make you let him slip away from you again. Not now, not ever!

“There is no way I shall ever let you have him taken from me again!” you growled. Had it not been for the fact that Romano obviously didn't want to leave you, you might have given him back. However his will to be with you, even after knowing your past made you fight to keep him with you.

He was different from all the others who had been with you. He saw you, he understood you, and he actually fought for you. Something no one else had done for you, and it gave you hope that he was the one to erase your lonely agony.

For Romano's part he had no intention of leaving you anytime soon. You were the only one who had ever made him feel loved and wanted. Not even his Grandfather had given him that, and none of his friends had never given him the feeling of being wanted. He always felt that they simply was with him because they pitied him. And pity was something he never wanted nor liked, but with you he had never felt either. With you he had only felt a certain warmth and sense of security which he never felt with anyone else.

He would rather give up everything he had and all that was him than not be with you again.

As if reading his mind, you squeezed him a bit in reassurance, making a silent, but strong, promise to him to not let him go. A promise he was more than comfortable with, and he showed it by relaxing a little more in your arms and easing into your grip.

Archí noticed your burning feelings towards Romano and knew you were on the verge of snapping again, to protect what little chance for happiness you had left in Romano. He sent a look to Vladimir who nodded in understanding, then he turned back to you and made eye contact with you. The two of you shared a silent conversation before you finally lowered your head shortly. You then turned your attention back to the others and gave them a low hiss.

“You have heard Romano's will. Now do yourselves a favor and respect it or I shall not show mercy the next time we happen to cross paths.” you hissed at the before disappearing with Romano and Vlad.

Antonio attempted to follow you, but was stopped by Archí, who grabbed ahold of him and held him back. The older vampire didn't even have to use his vampire strength to hold Antonio back due to the latter being weakened from blood loss.

¿Qué quieres [What do you want]?” Antonio asked the older man who held him back.

Archí simply kept his gaze firm on younger brunette, sending the message for him to keep quiet. Then he moved his gaze to the others, before striding past them and dumping Antonio on one of the couches, and then plopping himself down in one of the recliners.

The blonde vampire then raised his hand and motioned for the others to come and sit down as well, before speaking up in his deep, authoritative resounding voice.

“Sit down, and I shall explain.”
